Here comes the last month of summer - August. It seems that summer is almost over. But, there's still a month left! It holds new memories, challenges, and warm evenings with friends. It's a great month to prepare for fall and get back into work mode. Let's take a look at how you can plan for this month with Hizo, so that you can enjoy the summer and smoothly prepare for your workdays and studies.

August 1st — August 3rd: Focus and Relax

You can start with something simple and low-impact, like spending the first three days alone with yourself, taking a long bath, or starting your journal:

  • Day 1: Start a Journal - As the new month gets started, take some time for yourself to reflect on the past month. Journaling is a wonderful way to clear your mind and set intentions.
  • Day 2: Take a Nature Walk - Come on out and reconnect with nature! Breathe in that fresh air and enjoy the calming effects of the great outdoors.
  • Day 3: Take a Bubble Bath - Treat yourself! It's time to relax and unwind from the daily grind.

August 4rd — August 10th: Savoring Moments

The start of the month is the perfect time to soak up all the summer goodness! Spend your days soaking up the sun, having fun in the great outdoors, and enjoying delicious picnics and parties with friends under the beautiful night sky.

Let every morning be filled with joy from the anticipation of a new day! And every night, let's make it special with unforgettable moments and memories that will warm our hearts long after summer is gone:

  • Day 4: Go Swimming - Swim all weekend if you can. This will help you enjoy the summer, refresh yourself, and get ready for the workweek.

  • Day 5: Meditate - To make sure Monday doesn't catch you off guard, why not start the new week with a little meditation? It'll energize you for the day and help you be more productive!

  • Day 6: Capture the Perfect Summer View - On Tuesday, take a moment to look around you while walking, taking a walk, or having lunch. Find the most memorable moment.   • Day 9: Go to an Open-Air Movie - On Friday, treat yourself to a film under the stars for a unique and nostalgic experience with friends or alone.

  • Day 10: Breakfast at Your Favorite Cafe - And on Saturday, take yourself on a date to your most favorite place.

This week is all about making the most of summer’s delights, whether alone or with friends, creating memories that will warm you through the colder months.

August 11rd — August 17th: Social and Positive

Friends and relatives make our summer truly unforgettable, that's why it's so important to spend time with them, have fun and, for example, organize pajama parties. These moments bring us closer together, fill us with positive emotions, and prepare us for success. Let every evening with friends become a bright event that will warm you up and energize you for many weeks to come.

  • Day 11: Buy or Read a New Book - On Sunday, treat yourself to a new book in the park and soak up the warm rays of sunshine!

  • Day 12: Practice Positive Affirmations - Start your week off right with some positive thinking to make sure Monday doesn't get the best of you.

  • Day 13: Connect with a Loved One - On Tuesday, give your favorite person a call to check in and see how they're doing. You can even agree on plans for the weekend in advance!

  • Day 14: Stretch for 20 Minutes - Since half the week is behind us, it's time to give your body a good stretch. It is a great way to relax, de-stress, and rejuvenate. It helps you rest and stay motivated.

  • Day 15: Practice a Favorite Hobby - Thursday is Little Friday, and that means it's time for your hobby! Make time for something you love to nurture your creativity.

  • Day 16: Meet Up with Friends - It’s Friday! Time to come and enjoy the company of friends, share some laughs, and create lots of happy memories together!

  • Day 17: Watch the Sunrise - After meeting friends on Friday, you can have fun all night and meet the sunrise together on Saturday. Let the night be full of laughter and unforgettable moments.

This week is about social connections and positive thinking, which are important for mental well-being and happiness.

August 18rd — August 24th: Learning and Preparation

It's time to prepare for the new season and invest in yourself. This will help you adapt to the new school year and achieve new goals. Develop yourself: learn new skills, improve old habits, or think positively. Take these steps to face the new season with excitement and be ready to tackle any challenges:

  • Day 18: Have a Family Dinner - Spend the weekend with your family. You can strengthen your relationships, enjoy each other's company, and make new memories together.

  • Day 19: Practice Yoga - Start your morning with yoga to get your week off to a good start. It will help you wake up and feel good, and it will also help you feel calm and balanced.

  • Day 20: Try a New Recipe - Make Tuesday special by learning something new and trying an unusual recipe. It's a great way to add variety to your routine, expand your horizons, and enjoy cooking.

  • Day 21: Listen to a Podcast - On Wednesday you can learn something new or get inspired by interesting topics.

  • Day 22: Learn Something New - Take up a new skill or hobby, preparing yourself for autumn activities.

  • Day 23: Explore a New Place - Friday is a good time to meet up with friends or take yourself on a date to a new place you've never been or have wanted to visit for a long time.

  • Day 24: Social Media Detox - After hanging out with friends, take the day off and give yourself a digital detox. Spend your day reading a book or doing a hobby.

This week’s activities encourage personal growth and learning, setting a strong foundation for the upcoming season.

August 25rd — August 31st: Organization and Goal Setting

Fall is coming, so start getting ready for school or work. It's a great time to plan, organize, and set new goals. Make preparation fun and easy. You'll transition into the new season with ease and meet it in style:

  • Day 25: Clean Your Home - The weekend can be spent at home decluttering and organizing your space for a fresh start.

  • Day 26: Wake Up 15 Minutes Earlier - On Monday, you can take a step towards creating a new habit - start getting up earlier.   • Day 29: Plan a Healthy Meal - Thursday is an optimal time to plan meals for the upcoming season. This is an excellent chance to align your diet with your nutritional requirements.

  • Day 30: Write Down Your Goals - On Friday, it's best to stay home and write out your goals for the upcoming season: what you expect from it and what you want to accomplish.

  • Day 31: Go to Bed 30 Minutes Earlier - On the last Saturday of summer, try to go to bed early to prepare yourself for the upcoming season. This will give you the opportunity to start the fall with renewed strength and energy.

The final week is all about getting organized and setting yourself up for success as you transition from summer relaxation to a productive autumn.

August is the last month of summer, but it's also a golden opportunity to make this season truly memorable. By following this plan, you'll not only enjoy the best of what summer has to offer but also prepare yourself mentally, physically, and emotionally for the months ahead.
